Character:
Haru Okumura

I remember seeing this pic on DA a long while back, and I just couldn’t help but be inspired to do this one

It also comes with a story written by a good friend of mine

Akira slowly opened the door to Shujins roof, the cool air immediately greeting his face as he walked out onto the surprisingly comfortable storage space, with unused chairs, desks, and sitting there in her red P.E. uniform, his girlfriend: Haru Okumura.

It was apparent that she was spacing, hard, like she usually did while she attended to her plant life that she had prospering up on the cold open cement. Not even the loud creaking of the door down to the rest of the building had alerted her to Akira’s presence.

Akira smiled, as he slowly snuck up behind the humming and head bouncing girl. Once arriving right behind her, Haru still none the wiser, Akira put his hands softer onto her shoulders, causing her to freeze up with a characteristic squeak.

“Akira! Oh, it’s just you! You scared me you know!” Haru said, her face and voice softening back down to her usual wispy, yet commanding voice, as the startled girl smiled at her grinning goof of a boyfriend.

“That was the plan, anyway, why are you up here so late? I thought we were meeting downstairs after class?” Akira asked, feigning a frown that honestly couldn’t mask his devilish smirk.

Haru’s face looked as though this was the first time she had heard of their plans, before her eyes widened and her usually snow white cheeks started to turn Phantom Thief red. “Oh gosh! You’re absolutely right, I am so sorry Akira… Please forgive me?” Haru’s sincerity made Akira grin awkwardly, reaching to scratch some of the tension from the back of his head.

“Heeeey, it’s okay, seriously, don’t worry about it too much!” Akira chuckled, giving Haru’s back a gentle rub, Haru calming a little. “Although… Since you owe me…” Akira’s signature smirk crossed his face, his eye getting a glimmer of mischief to it. Haru looked at him questioningly. “How about this…” Akira grinned, leaning over right to Haru’s ears and whispered something into it, causing the poor girl to grow even redder at what she was hearing. Little did Akira know however, a combination of a stray gust of noisy wind, and Haru’s airheadedness would lead to a completely different set of events.

“So? How does that sound? Meet you in 2-D?” Akira said, smug oozing out of his victorious proposition. Haru giggled, and leaned over to pick up one of her plants.

“Here, eat this.” She said, holding out an unremarkable looking zucchini for Akira to take and eat. Akira looked it over, shrugging, not really caring, just figuring that Haru was trying to give him some sort of breath freshener type food for when they met up.

Akira gave Haru a small hug, as he got up, heading to his empty homeroom, eating the vegetable with loud crunches as he made his way down the stairs. Akira made his way down the hall, the once equally sized windows next to him seemed to stretch out, elongating from how they usually looked, but Akira paid it no mind.

“Is the walk back always this long?” Akira mused to himself, feeling like his journey was becoming just that, as his usually long legs just didn’t seem to be doing the job. Finally, after he got to the homeroom door, it hit him.

Shrinking, Akira had no idea how it was happening, but his body, and somehow even his clothes, were rapidly getting smaller and smaller. In under a minute’s time, Akira had shrunk to about a single inch, two if you were being generous.

Akira looked around, panicked at the stupidly huge world that he had once called normal. This couldn’t be a palace somehow, could it? Akira frantically checking his phone, but indeed, his hopes were incorrect.

Before Akira could get too comfortable, the door to the classroom opened up, Haru walking in having changed into her casual attire. The blinding pink sweater, star emblazoned white leggings, and worst of all at the tiny boys current height: Haru’s terrifyingly loud and forceful Marie Janes. “Haru! Please! You have to help me!” Akira waved his arms frantically, his words as generic as any other helpless persons. Haru just saw the now fun sized Akira and smiled, her feet booming against the hardwood floor as she got closer and closer.

“Oh God, Haru, please!” Akira was at this point starting to run, his face covered in cold sweat, as bullet sized beads of it matted his hair in front of his face, and into his uniform.

The shadow looming over Akira got darker and darker, before the now seemingly doomed boy looked up, tears in his usually cool and collected face, as he raised his hands in any hope of shielding himself from being turned into a smear.

“I just wanted a-” but Akira’s final words were replaced with a sickening, grotesque crunching of bone and flesh being shredded. While Haru couldn’t see the snuffing of her now ex-boyfriend, the sight was truly something horrific to behold.

Akira’s spine snapped backwards, cracking cleanly in two as he folded over as neatly as a girls love letter. His stomach and lower hips ripped open, but didn’t have a chance to spray too far before the rest of Haru’s foot came down.

First was Akira’s chest and ribs, rupturing, the sharp bones tearing through his soft flesh, before breaking into pieces, cutting his organs into ribbons. Akira’s skittle sized skull burst like a jelly filled donut, fragments of cranial, brain flecks, and eyes went flying before they too were mushified.

The rest of Akira’s body was flattened quite easily, his uniform almost completely fused with the overabundance of gore seeping through his now flattened body.

Haru paused, smiling for a second before it hit her as she was turning to leave. “Oh! KISS you! I thought you said ‘squish you’, I apologize for the misunderstanding Akira!” Haru said, her face that of faux sympathy as she lifted her foot to survey the damage that had been done.

Akira’s body was quite literally unrecognizable at this point, simply being a disgustingly messy splatter of red. As Haru’s Marie Jane was lifted, a sticky, jelly like trail of viscera stretched up from one crimson stain to the other, little strands snapping like rope.

There were fragments of bones and other vital bits of boy, yes, but with a little more grinding, it now looked nothing more than how it should look: a squashed insect. Haru sighed, smiling to herself, not truly caring that she had just ended Akira’s life the way she did.

In fact, Haru felt relieved, as now she could spend the afternoon caring for her plants a bit more without having to worry about being interrupted by her teasing ex.

“Hey Haru, you crunch a bug?” A familiar voice called out to Haru, the floofy haired empress turning around to see a mutual friend. “Ah yes, I did Ann.” Haru smiled softly at the lower yeared girl, who looked a bit surprised.

“Looks like a big one!” Ann said, her voice having a crawling disgust at the thought of such a big, crunchy, and squishy bug.

“Oh, not really hehe… Would you be a dear and clean it up?” Haru asked, flashing her eyelashes. Ann sighed, but realized that Haru was her senpai, and this was her homeroom, so it was her duty. Ann wiped up the gory stain with a tissue paper, snarling at the goopy remains as she simply threw them into the bin. Haru walked out of the room, humming, completely forgetting about Akira once and for all.
