“Where did you girls go?! I wasn’t done talking with you skanks!” Ai hissed, blinking a handful of times more to ensure that her eyes weren’t playing an unfair trick on here. One moment the Inaba brats she often squabled with were standing in front of her, making a comment she assumed was shot at her, and the next, they were gone midsentence through Ai’s retort.
“N-No way…” Rise choked, looking up at the now skyscraper sized second year, the other girls just as pale and surprised as their twin tailed friend. Ai let out a nasty snarl, and a slew of rude remarks as huffed, one more glancing around.
“This… this can’t be happening.” Chie’s shoulders dropped, her worst enemy bigger than any of the shadows she and the others had ever fought, and seemingly more impossible than their existence as well.
“We need to think of something to do, and do it quick, otherwise Ebihara might cause us trouble.” Despite her shaking voice, Naoto was once again the husky voice of reason, the other three girls turning to their blue haired friend for advice.
“But what do we do Naoto-chan?! We are the size of bugs!” Yukiko sobbed, tears running down her eyes, her cheeks redder than the blazer she was wearing. Tilting her cap in a request for a moment to think, Naoto tried to make her mind work into overdrive.
“If this is a prank you’re playing, it ain’t funny!” Ai, stubborn as always, was still standing in place, her well maintained and manicured knuckles and hands going a soft white as she clutched them in frustrated.
This was bad enough for the mite sized gang of part time detectives, but things got worse, as the world started to shake and tremble around them. Every other second resulted with the loudest crashing thud any of the girls had ever heard, each of them clamping their ears down in an attempt to block out the apocalyptic sounding dress shoes.
Then it rang out, the sweet harsh chirps of a text message, the one that would spell their very doom. Ai’s eyes returned to normal, her fists unclenched as the call from her cellular device caught her attention.
The second she looked down in preparation to check her text, her hazel eyes turned to that of unbridled bloodlust and dominance. There stood the four candy colored girls she had been ready to give a verbal smackdown to, but she didn’t even have to waste her breath this time.
“Oh, would you look at that… I always thought that green made you look like a bug Satonaka, guess I was right, as per usual.” A catty smile curled subtly onto Ai’s lips, as she didn’t even bother to bend down and inspect the waving, pleading mites in front of her.
“Ugh, I can’t hear you, and I wouldn’t even want to. Your voices were already grating enough as is when you were oversized pests, and now that you’re a fitting size, I can only imagine how much it would pain me to listen.” Ai spat in disgust, hearing the faintest of cries for help from the little herd of girls below her.
“Anyway, as a student of this… fine… school, I have a commitment to keep it free of trash. I don’t think you girls will mind, if anything, I’m doing you a favor.” Ai once more smiled, her lips practically dripping venom as she carefully and slowly raised her foot, the finely worn soles raising up and hovering over the group of friends she despised.
“Run… RUN!” Chie simply shouted, the world seemingly going into slow motion as she tried to get her friends to make any sort of distance away from the encompassing entity that was Ai. Chie didn’t make it far, a groove in the ground catching her feet, as she toppled over, a yelp of pain escaping her lips.
“Please-” But Chie watched the trio of still frozen and awestruck girls vanish, their forms be replaced by the expensive designer dress loafer with a wet crunch. Chie’s head and stomach began to spin, her leaning over as she clutched her cold as ice lips, sweat running down her entire body as she never broke contact with the snuffing shoe.
It took only a millisecond for the young detective, pop star, and hotel hostess to be reduced to nothing more than crumpled, pulped stains. Their bones reduced to a soggy powder, as like twigs, they bent inward, and vaporized. Their once beautiful bodies now nothing more than nearly identical smears, save for their wet, clumped in gore hair, and their ruined colored jackets.
“Seriously? You girls really were all bark and no bite…” Ai snickered, giving her foot an official twist, earning an all too familiar sound to the often amused bug-crusher that was Chie, albeit with a much more sickening and booming tone to it.
“Oh? Satanaka… you survived…” Ai’s expression fell, almost unreadable as her eyes narrowed onto the sickly shivering survivor that was still staring at her shoe. Ai snapped her fingers, trying to get the little ‘ant’s’ attention, but just sighed, deciding that, like with everything else, she would have to spell it out for the dumb insect.
“Your. Friends. Are. Dead. Bitch.” Ai said, word for word, as she pressed on her heel, lifting the front sole of her footwear up, and showing the hellish scene that was literally painted all over the fine rubber.
Chie puked, the multicolored art show of death finally being the metaphorical gut punch that did the job. Despite the stretched out, skin colored remains being far beyond what anything human had ever looked like, Chie could still tell each girl apart.
“Anywaaay, I guess I gotta give you props, maybe you aren’t as much of a bitch as I thought.” The ‘compliment’ was laced with utter hatred and sarcasm, as while Chie slowly gripped her knees, falling to her side and rolling softly, Ai peeled off her shoe.
“Hold on Satanaka, don’t go anywhere.” Ai said, another text grabbing her attention more than the tiny toy sized victim did. A harsh blush hit Ai’s porcelain face as she saw who the message was from. Quickly hitting the call button, she pressed the phone up to her ear. “Hey, I see you finally decided to call me.” Ai said cooly, not wanting to give the obviously male voice on the other end any satisfaction of knowing she had been wanting to hear from him all day.
