A mysterious phenomenon has caused people all over Fodlan to shrink down to the size of an insect. In response, the Church has decreed that it is simply the Goddess’ will and anyone afflicted should be treated like insects.
We begin with Ingrid, Frustrated by the endless, repetitive drills that offered her no true path toward knighthood, she let her resentment boil over when she found the tiny, shrunken form of her instructor beneath her feet. As she pressed down with a cold, calculated force, she felt great satisfaction in erasing the woman whose ineffective mentorship had become such an unbearable burden.
