It happened in an instant. The flash of light blinded the group of daring and heroic thieves grimaced as they covered their eyes, the stinging ring burning their ears, as the shot of pure white blinded their eyes.
They were foolish. They should have listened to Navi, who told them all in her usually high pitched and frantic tone that she sensed a trap. Their newest member of the team, violet had giggled and said that she had it.
Needless to say, regardless of her gymnastic prowess, it was not like any movie, with the invisible beems that the orange haired UFO piloting girl had warned about being more like a wall that brought on such horrid sensations.
Even Futaba, who was usually left unaffected by any sort of curses or traps screamed a shrill cry that went unheard by the group walking below. Joker and Crow’s grimaces and pained chokes were the low that met Haru’s higher feminine cry.
The only one to not join in the chorus of pain and confusion was the scantily dressed red head, her naturally crimson eyes flooding with bright gold, as if they had been touched by King Midas himself. Her shocked expression curled up like burnt wood into a nasty grin.
Her vision had once been fairly equal to the other members of her team, despite her height being on the shorter end of the scale. But it seemed the universe, or more realistically, the palace owner had decided to skew this, prompting her golden gaze to scan down.
Joker was used to being the one who took the teams punches, there still being fresh scars and bruises from the last high risk encounter they had. But this, this was different. His whole body felt as though it had been hit by a semi truck.
It wasn’t just the leader who felt this, his navigator, rival, and femme fatale friend all felt like they were sick, their worlds spinning as they fell to their knees, tears flooding their eyes as their insides felt as though they were being rearranged like a puzzle.
It was like leaving her dark room for the first time again, Futaba thought, opening her eyes as the accusing aura of light slowly left. Nothing seemed different, outside of the cramping her body felt, but the second she heard the confused gasps of her team causing her to look down, she then knew exactly what was wrong.
While slightly varied to each of their vastly different ‘personas’, each of the Phantom Thieves looked up at their gigantic team member. While they gawked up, the still normal sized Kasumi looked down, an oddly tranquil smirk on her face as she eyed each of the minute forms beneath her towering body.
“Violet, can you hear me? Can you see us?” Came Futaba’s desperate call through the link the team members shared. But despite the success rate, and the fact that Futaba could clearly read her readings indicating that she could in fact hear the tiny NEET, Kasumi slowly got to her knees, her face looming over the quaking mite thieves.
Joker knew there wasn’t even a point in trying to call up to the dull yet sinisterly smiling giantess, whose gloved hand hovered above them like a mothership in a UFO catcher preparing to abduct its prize.
“Ooo… cute…” Kasumi cooed, her words reeked of an offputting poison that punctuated each of her words.
“J-Joker! I know why she can’t hear me! It was the trap, she’s hornier than me!” Futaba cried, her unneeded comment making Akechi grimace along with the other members of the team for different reasons.
This revelation didn’t give any of the shrunken heroes any advantage however, as while they tried to think of a way to snap the massive Kasumi out of her trance, a loud, elegant scream cut into everyones ears.
“You’ll be fun to play with. So pretty. I bet you think you’re prettier then me huh?~” Kasumi said, her voice full of sickening lust as her index finger and thumb were mere spaces from touching each other, the only prevention was the gorgeously dressed beauty thief.
