Halara crouched down, picking up the man by his raised fist as if he were a mere doll. “H-Hey! What are you trying to pull?!” the man screamed, kicking and thrashing, but he was utterly powerless against the Detective.
“I’m curious as to how ‘close’ the two of you really are…” Halara’s voice was chillingly indifferent. They took a couple of steps forward, leaving the tiny woman behind, frozen in place.
Turning back to the woman, Halara pointed at her husband, a sinister glint in their eyes. “How about I tear your husband limb from limb… unless you have anything to say about it?”
The man gasped in abject terror, his rage swiftly morphing into fear. He began to plead for his life, offering up his riches to the detective, but Halara ignored him, their gaze fixed on his wife below.
It was as if Halara was trying to find some kind amusement in this morbid situation, completely unsympathetic to the two tiny beings who could do nothing against the towering Detective.
Despite the threat against her significant other, the woman couldn’t seem to say anything, simply standing there as if she was a tiny figurine, her face frozen in shock.
