“I always work sincerely to the payment I receive” Halara Nightmare stated as they began to take a step towards the tiny woman.
It was just one small step from the Detective was an earthquake that shook the woman’s world. Neither of them had said exactly what that “extra service” was, but she knew what fate was going to befall her. A fate shared by Tinies all around the world. A fate she so desperately wanted to avoid by getting her hands on a fortune.
The woman turned around as she began running as fast as her tiny legs would allow her to run. No matter how quickly she thought she was moving, it was no match for Halara’s brisk walking speed as they began closing in on her.
She pleaded and cried out to the two of them, but she wasn’t even being given so much as a response. She could feel the detective getting closer, each step booming behind her. “I don’t want to die! I don’t want-”
Eventually she trips, falling face first into the cold wet ground below. Before she could even get up, her world was engulfed in the darkness that was Halara’s shadow. The tiny woman didn’t even have any chance to try and beg for her life as Halara’s boot began descending onto her. All she could do was scream in terror, before she was finally silenced, replaced with the sounds of her body crunched under their boot.
*CRUNCH*
With the job complete Halara simply continued walking, by the time the two of them would make it back to the Agency, the boot should have cleaned itself from the rainy ground below.
With a sigh of disappointment, the man remarked, “It’s a shame, I thought she was rather beautiful.” Before he could continue, Halara interjected, “Quite frankly, I don’t care.” The job had finally concluded, and they weren’t being paid to listen to whatever this Tiny was going to monologue.
“…Now in regards to your payment…” the Detective continued, this job was going to cost quite a lot especially after having to add the ‘extermination’ fee. The sooner they could get paid, the sooner they wouldn’t have to babysit this client anymore.
“Yes, yes…” he replied leaning backwards into their palm, finding himself rather comfortable despite everything that had gone down.
