Zani reclined on her sun lounger, staring vacantly at the ocean while nursing a neon-green “tropical drink” that was actually just her fifth energy drink of the hour. A small pile of empty cans sat by her feet, a testament to her frantic attempt at relaxation. She glanced toward the waves, a flicker of anxiety crossing her face.
